Xiaomi has scheduled an event on August 21 to announce the new Mi A3 for the Indian market. However, ahead of the official launch, Amazon India let the secret out with the product listing, revealing the price of the smartphone. It is quite interesting as the phone was even listed before Xiaomi officially announce it in India. As per the listing, the Mi A3 will be priced at Rs 14,998 for the base variant. Upon clicking on the listing, the ‘Join Wishlist’ option shows up.
According to the listing base variant of the Xiaomi Mi A3 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage costs Rs 14,998, while the 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage is listed with Rs 17,498. The phone is listed with three colour options: Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Grey, and all the colours will be available in two variants- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
Note that these are not the official prices of the Xiaomi Mi A3, and the product pages are accidentally made live before the actual launch. While we do have all reasons to believe the listing on a credible source, Xiaomi may or may not select to price the phone differently at the time of launch on August 21.
Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications
Xiaomi Mi A3 sports a 6.08-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720×1520 pixels. There’s a teardrop notch on top of the display and Xiaomi also added a 2 Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset which is an octa-core processor. The phone comes in two storage options- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. In addition, there’s a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
In terms of optics, it has a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. On the front, we get to see a 32-megapixel shooter. The device runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and it’s backed by a 4030mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
