Xiaomi already launched its latest Redmi K20 Series in China. The company also confirmed that it will be launching the K20 series in India in Mid-July. Xiaomi also teased that it is also working on a smartphone with an in-display camera. It seems like Xiaomi is working very hard to give a tough competition to its competitors.
Now a new report which came online suggesting that it is working on Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones which are much focussed on selfie-cameras. In the recent rumour, Xiaomi teases one of the selfie-centric smartphones with a flip camera setup which is similar to that of Asus 6Z which is launched in India recently. It is also observed that the Mi CC9 series as the result of the acquisition of hardware division of Meitu by Xiaomi.

The teaser image shows the smartphone with three cameras and a flip camera mechanism. So the rear triple cameras can also be used as front cameras. When the rear camera mode is turned-on, cameras will rest on the back cover and when the selfie mode is turned on, the cameras will flip-up as shown in the above teaser. This working indicates the working of the flip camera mechanism of the Asus 6Z smartphone.
Based on the past leaked reports, Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will come powered by Snapdragon 730 processor, which is the same processor used in Redmi K20. Leaks also suggest that Mi CC9 will feature a waterdrop-notch display, in-display fingerprint sensor and a massive 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The other variant, Mi CC9e is expected to come with a rear fingerprint sensor.
Both the devices may come with a 32MP selfie camera similar to Redmi Y3 launched earlier in India. On the back, they may come with a 48MP primary camera.
As per the leaks, Mi CC9e will be available in only one variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which is priced at CNY 1,599 ( Rs.16,000 Approx). On the other hand, Mi CC9 is expected to come in three variants with 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256 internal storage. They may come with prices CNY 2,499 (Rs. 25,100 Approx), (Rs. 28,100 Approx) and CNY 3,099 (Rs. 31,100 Approx) respectively.
