Motorola Edge 30 has been unveiled in India. A few months ago, the Edge 30 Pro flagship phone debuted in India. And this is the second phone in the series. Moto Edge 30 is the successor to the Moto Edge 20 which was introduced in 2021.
It is also India’s first Snapdragon 778G+ smartphone, and it is also one of the sleekest phones in this segment. A few other notable features include a pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary and ultra-wide rear camera, a 32MP front camera, an IP52 rating, and 33W fast charging support.
Motorola Edge 30 Price in India, Availability
In India, the Edge 30 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 27,999 while the 8GB+128GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999. You will be able to purchase the phone from May 19 via Flipkart and Reliance Digital in Meteor Grey and Aurora Green colours. As part of the launch offer, you will receive a Rs 2,000 instant discount with an HDFC Bank credit card. 
Motorola Edge 30 Specifications
The Motorola Edge 30 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate screen, under-display fingerprint sensor, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It features a 10-bit panel that supports HDR10+ content.
This is India’s first smartphone to be powered by the new 6 nm-based Snapdragon 778G+ SoC accompanied by Adreno 642L GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It lacks a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for the camera, the Edge 30 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 118-degree foV, which also works as a macro camera. Additionally, it has a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 32MP front-facing camera. The rear camera is capable of 4K video recording.
Powering the phone is a 4,020mAh which supports 33W fast charging. It runs Android 12 out of the box. The company has already promised three years of security updates and Android 13 and 14 upgrades to the device.
In addition, it has an IP52 rating, 5G (sub-6 GHz) connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support (Snapdragon Sound), Bluetooth 5.2, Thinkshield mobile security, and NFC. the handset has 6.79mm thickness and weighs 155 gram.
