Vivo Y53s to launch in India on August 9

The Vivo Y53s will be launched in India on August 9. Earlier this month, the device was unveiled in Vietnam. According to reports, the Indian variant of the Vivo Y53s will have the same specs as the Vietnamese model. Vivo has not yet announced a launch date for the Vivo Y53s in India.

Moneycontrol reported that the Vivo Y53s will be launched in India on August 9. According to the report, the phone will also feature a triple-camera setup on its back. The primary camera sensor will be 64MP.

Furthermore, Moneycontrol claims that the device will have a battery capacity of 5000 mAh and 18W fast charging capabilities. The phone is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, the device will have extended memory support up to 3GB.

It has been reported that Vivo Y53 will cost Rs 22,990 (Rs 19,490 MOP) in India for the 8GB + 128GB model. There will be Deep Sea Blue and Fantastic Rainbow colour options for the device.

Vivo Y53s 4G comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a refresh rate of 60Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is embedded within the power button.

At the back, there is a triple camera setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It comes with a 16 MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

With the device, you will get a battery of 5,000mAh and a 33W charger. The device runs FunTouchOS 11.1 on Android 11. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
